Exploring Queenslands Gold Coast and the lush Hinterlands.

Crossing the border into Queensland we were welcomed with beautiful subtropical weather.

The Gold Coast offers relaxed golden beaches, great surf, scenes from blockbuster movies and those highrised hotels.

It’s been a popular spot for many years.

The beaches in this area stretch for quite a distance. Broadbeach is regarded as a safe spot for swimming. Burleigh is a beautiful spot to admire the coastal views.

This place has something for everyone. Just a short drive you can discover the beautiful sub topic hinterland. Waterfalls, picturesque towns and bushwalking.

A lot of time can be spent enjoying this area.

The Mount Tambourine is a great starting base. Situated in the scenic rim. This area offers some beautiful natural wonders and tasty local produce.

The surrounding National parks, Springbrook is home to beech trees native wildlife and scenic lookouts.

The best of all lookouts is a great view point that stretches across the two borders.

Situated in the West part of the Springbrook National Park is a beautiful rock formation, formed from the constant flow of water over the basalt cave.

Also situated in the Gondwana rainforest is the world hertiage Purlinging Brook falls.

Such a charming place with a beautiful hike reaching the bottom with lush rainforests to explore.

With plenty of walking trails, lush rainforests, waterfalls and creeks to explore.

Theme parks, animals encounters and lots of places to enjoy and create those treasured memories.
